My son, a 2000 grad, sent me this...
Saw the Collegiate Times Article on Dennis Wolff...
... saying that after 5 years, the fact that the women's team has a chance to go over .500 should be enough to bring him back another year. Most of the wins came out-of-conference.
So I wondered if anybody actually looked at the breakdown of the teams the women's team beat this year.
OOC Opponents' Overall Record (as of 2/22/2016): 146-192
Power 5 OOC Opponents' Overall Record (as of 2/22/2016): 45-61
* Georgetown (14-12) - Big East - LOSS
* Providence (5-21) - Big East
* Penn State (10-17) - Big Ten
* Tennessee (16-11) - SEC
Non Power 5 OOC Opponents' Overall Record (as of 2/22/2016): 101-131
* Presbyterian (15-10) - Big South
* George Mason (11-16) - Atlantic 10
* College of Charleston (9-16) - CAA
* Wofford (9-16) - Southern
* Morgan State (12-13) - MEAC
* Coppin State (10-15) - MEAC
* Mount St. Mary's (7-19) - NEC
* Radford (14-12) - Big South
* Furman (14-13) - Southern
Then you look at the overall record of the teams beaten in the ACC: (33-49, 7-35)
* Boston College (14-13, 2-12)
* Clemson (4-23, 0-14)
* UVA (15-13, 5-9)
Maybe I'm missing something... but with seniors leaving and either the same type of schedule or stronger next year, how exactly is the team going to be better next year under Wolff?
